Caught in Our Web

Dear Earth,

When I walk on your lake shores I see the impact of what we do and how it works its way through your web, hurting you and your creatures. We cause botulism in the lake sediment that kills your fish and kills the birds who eat the them. And our automobiles hit your animals that lie dead on our roads or get washed to our beaches, left without a second thought. On behalf of all humans, please help us rebalance our relationship to you, and guide us to repair our environment so we can free the creatures that we have caught in our web.
